Our Mission

Petals of the Lotus was founded by four deeply empathetic siblings who noticed a lack of resources that taught individuals how to cultivate compassion in their lives. This meditation center is the result of their collective vision to establish a sanctuary where anyone can come to learn and grow on their journey to becoming more compassionate and kind human beings.

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we do this by nurturing self-awareness and inner calm in individuals. Our belief is that this can then ripple outwards to create a more loving and understanding society.

Our team has diverse experiences, share a deep sense of empathy and a firm belief in the power of compassion. Instead of choosing to simply exist, I challenge you to truly experience life. I urge you to allow yourself to be vulnerable and live. Throughout life, obstacles and trauma can trick us into believing that everything has to have an immediate fix. It can create a state of chaos, constantly running round trying to put out fires. People fail to realize that anything you can't control is showing to you how to let go. I am here to teach you how to breathe. How in a single moment, space can be created and when wielded correctly can bring about an opportunity to change.
